1. AFT water filters
The automatic water deferrization filter AFT oxidizes the dissolved in water iron and removes it. The filtering system consists of an aspirator (air pump), an oxidizing tank and a deferrization filter. Water flows through the aspirator and air enters it. The oxidizing tank oxidizes the iron compounds contained in the water. Then water enters the deferrization filter, which removes the oxidized iron. The filter is filled with filtering materials: "Birm" and "Aqua gravel". The filter is fully automatic, does not require any additional maintenance, regeneration takes place in accordance with the predetermined time. Filter maintenance costs is the water which is used for regeneration. It is very important that the AFT filter does not use potassium permanganate or other chemicals that can cause damage to the microbiological wastewater treatment system.
The automatic deferrization filter consists of an air supply unit (aspirator or water compressor), an oxidizing tank, a filter column with a filtering load and a column with an automatic control valve.
The principle of operation is that air enters the water through an aspirator (or compressor) and mixes with it. In the oxidizing tank, the iron dissolved in the water is oxidized and converted into rust (Fe²+→ Fe³+). The water then enters the filter, which is filled with a special load and removes the iron-rust oxide (Fe³+). Flushing of the load is carried out periodically at the set time. The whole process is regulated by an automatic control valve.
ŠOMIS, JSC uses Clack or RX valves for the production of automatic iron removal filters. The automatic control valve directs the water flow into the filter layer and all iron deposits accumulated in it are discharged into the sewerage system. Sewerage and electrical installations are mandatory at the filter installation site.

2. Deferrization filters ŠOMIS PR OXI
The principles of oxidation and aeration are used to remove iron, manganese and hydrogen sulfide, including from well water. In the PR OXI filter, aeration is performed with the help of an injector. Iron and sulphide compounds dissolved in water are oxidized. The water current moves downstream of the housing and passes through the filtration feed. Oxidized compounds settle on the filter feed. The water is removed from the iron after it has been loaded. The collected sludge is discharged into the sewerage system thanks to the automatic regeneration program, which is installed in the automatic control valve. The valve regulates the direction of water flow and regeneration process, and the injector replenishes the amount of oxygen/air required to form an air cushion.
PR OXI provides the necessary power and speed of the water current. The filter is reliable, simple, efficient, does not require constant monitoring and does not have a negative impact on the environment. Manufactured in the EU.
Advantages of PR OXI:
- Iron removal technology in one column;
- The filling is rinsed with water only;
- No additional chemical materials are required;
- Particularly effective for iron removal;
- Easy installation and maintenance;
- Clean and delicious water is straight from the well;
- Plumbing and bathroom equipment are clean;
- Rust-proof household appliances;
- Safe for sewage treatment equipment.

3. Automatic water deferrization filters Clack Premium Line AIF
Clack PR AIF deferrization filters are a reliable, economical and efficient way to remove iron and manganese compounds from well water. The system consists of two columns, an automatic air supply system and an electronic control valve. Premium Line AIF systems are supplied with an air compressor, a programmable control valve. Premium Line AIF is the original oxidation technology that provides the air supply to the system. The compressor supplies air to the water through a system-mounted unit.
In water dissolved iron compounds are oxidized and precipitated. Iron is removed according to this chemical reaction: 4Fe2+ + O2 + 8OH- + 2H2O(FeOH)3→ 4Fe(OH)3↓ . This reaction is accelerated by the produced Fe(OH)3. This oxidation reaction is carried out in the PR AIF filter in the first column. In the second column, the oxidized iron residue is mechanically filtered with a filter filler. After a certain amount of water has passed through, the filter is periodically washed out and the accumulated sludge is flushed into the sewerage system. To make the oxidation and filtration process more efficient, forced proportional ventilation is used. PR AIF is an excellent technology for removing iron, sulphur and manganese compounds.
Advantages of the deferrization filter Premium Line AIF :
- Proportional introduction of air (oxygen) into the water current;
- Constant water pressure;
- More oxidation space - more efficient oxidation;
- Qualitative filtering filler, which also holds fine particles;
- Insignificant amount of water for washing, longer cycle between regenerations;
- Original disassembled joints - easy installation and operation;
- High efficiency at removal of iron, hydrogen sulfide and manganese;
- Clean and delicious water from your well;
- Ceramics of a bathroom and the equipment - pure, without iron precipitation;
- From a rust protected home appliances;
- The filter is suitable for local purification facilities.
