Water is supplied via mechanical filters (5 microns) to the high-pressure pump. The pump increases the pressure to 6-12 atmospheres and pushes the water through the membranes. 

The membrane filter consists of:

• Mechanical filter with a 5 micron cartridge;

• Fiberglass membrane module;

• Membranes;

• Valves and devices (inlet solenoid valve, inlet water pressure switch, product and concentrate flow meter, antivibration pump gauge and concentrate gauge);

• Microprocessor, which automatically controls the device operation (it shows the conductivity of the product, forced stopping and filling of the tank, signals low pressure and high conductivity).
