Reverse osmosis is a water filtration process in which special water-filtering membranes play a major role. The filtering membrane is designed to allow water to pass through and retain chemical elements, impurities and various contaminants dissolved in water.
The water-filtering membrane is a special filter whose pores are so small that they do not allow anything but water to pass through, removing up to 98% of dissolved contaminants and chemical elements from it. In industrial plants, the pore diameter usually does not exceed 0.0001 microns.
During reverse osmosis, water flows through the membrane from the larger concentrate to the smaller one under two forces: osmotic pressure (due to different water concentrations) and outside pressure. The external pressure changes the direction of movement of organic inclusions and molecules. That is why the process is called reverse osmosis. During this process, various contaminants and inclusions are trapped on one side of the filtering membrane, and the purified water easily passes through it.
Reverse osmosis technology is designed to treat water of the highest quality. Such water can be used both in industry and for domestic purposes. Reverse osmosis is widely used in various industries: from pharmaceuticals, medicine and food industry to energy, chemical, oil and other industries. The efficiency of the orator osmosis technology depends on the water temperature, pH level, chemical composition, water pressure in the system and the material of the filtering membrane.
Reverse osmosis is a complex, flexible and practical water filtration process that allows for simultaneous filtration of various types of contaminants. Today, industrial reverse osmosis water purification is used for purification of water from iron, manganese, magnesium, chlorine, calcium, nitrates, nitrites, petroleum products, radioactive elements and elements of heavy metals, as well as other contaminants and bacteria.
Our specialists, depending on the individual needs of the client, select and implement optimal solutions in the field of water treatment. Reverse osmosis equipment is manufactured in accordance with the current water quality, the requirements for treated water, its planned use, the amount of water consumed and the capacity of the existing water supply system.
We select a reverse osmosis system according to your individual needs, water consumption and the current water quality situation. For domestic and industrial water deferrization, we offer particularly high-quality automatic filters. For water supply, water treatment and water purification we offer design, installation and maintenance services.
