Cetamine® F300
Cetamine® F300 is an organic product that protects hot water and chilled water systems from corrosion and scale by forming a protective film. Cetamine® F300 is directly fed into the circulation system.
The polyamines in Cetamine® F300 form a protective film that creates a barrier between the dissolved oxygen and the surfaces of steel and copper alloys, thus preventing corrosion. For systems containing aluminium and alloys, Cetamine® F360 is recommended.
Using Cetamine® F300 in closed pH systems, pH is maintained at 9.0 - 9.5, thus stopping corrosion of copper and steel.
The amines in Cetamine® modify the crystalline chain of calcium carbonates to form an anti-corrosion coating.
When dosing, the exact amount of product depends on many factors: concentration factor, chloride concentration and time index. ŠOMIS technical service specialists will help to select and maintain the necessary concentration of the product. In the circulating system it is recommended to maintain the product dose of 5 l/m3 .
Cetamine® F360
Cetamine® F360 is an organic product for protecting enclosed cold and hot water systems that contain aluminium compounds. By forming a protective film, the product protects hot water supply systems, cooling system closure and chilled water systems from corrosion and scale formation.
Available in Cetamine® F360, polyamines form a protective film that creates a barrier between the oxygen dissolved in water and the metal surface, thus preventing corrosion.
When using Cetamine® F360 in closed pH systems, the pH is maintained at 7.0 - 8.5, thus stopping corrosion of aluminium due to the passivation rate.
The amines contained in Cetamine® F360 modify the crystalline chain of calcium carbonates to form an anti-corrosion coating.
Cetamine® F360 is a liquid product consisting of a specific copper inhibitor and film-forming polyamines. Cetamine® F360 is injected directly into the circulation system by injection. The additional water is treated via an automatic dosing system, which is controlled according to the amount of water.
In this case, we recommend using EPDM sealants, Teflon diaphragms, PVC pump pipes and PE drain pipes.
The exact dosage of the product depends on a large number of factors: concentration factor, chloride concentration and time index. ŠOMIS technical service specialists will help to select and maintain the necessary concentration of the product. In the circulating system the recommended product dose is 5 l/m3.
Cetamine® F3100
Cetamine® F3100 is an organic product for the protecting of cold and hot water closed systems, which do not contain aluminium The polyamines in the product form a protective film that creates a barrier between the oxygen dissolved in water and the metal surface, thus preventing corrosion and scale.
When using Cetamine® F3100 in closed pH systems, pH levels are maintained at 9.0 - 9.5, thus, due to the passivation process speed, corrosion of copper and carbon steel is stopped.
The amines in Cetamine® F3100 modify the crystalline chain of calcium carbonates to form an anti-corrosion coating. Copolymers stop the formation of calcining deposits. Cetamine® F3100 is a liquid product consisting of a specific copper inhibitor, polyamines (which create a film), polymers and neutral amines.
The dosage of the product depends on the hardness and temperature of the water. Specialists of the technical service of ŠOMIS will help to select and maintain the necessary concentration of the product. In the circulating system it is recommended to maintain the dose of 1 l/m3.
Cetamine® G817
Cetamine® G817 is an organic fluid product for protection against corrosion in steam generators and boiler houses by forming a Cetamine® protective film on the metal surface and regulating it to the optimum pH value range. It is an organic corrosion inhibitor designed for use in food industry steam boilers.
All components of the Cetamine® G817 are volatile. The concentration ratio of these components is balanced to provide effective corrosion protection throughout the system, including the steam and condensate systems.
Cetamine® G817 provides complete protection for systems that contain copper or copper alloys. This product is suitable for water that is prepared with softening, reverse osmosis or ion exchange technology.
Thanks to the formation of a stable protective film Cetamine® , the Cetamine® G817 can be used further for non-stop operation of the equipment and also provides complete protection of the equipment during its shutdown.
Cetamine® G817 is designed to protect boilers that produce steam for food processing other than milk and dairy products. It complies with the provisions of the Food, Cosmetics and Drug Act and all applicable regulations, including FDA 21 C.F.R. 173.310 if the concentration of the Cetamine® G817 does not exceed 55 g/m³.
The dosage of the Cetamine® G817 is different for each system, so ŠOMIS specialists will help you to choose the right dosage. Typical dosage of Cetamine® G817 is 15 to 55 g/m³ and should be regligrated until the pH value is higher than 8.8 g/m³ and the CFA concentration in the system is lower than 0.5 g/m³.
Cetamine® G817 should be dosed using an automatic dosing system.
Cetamine® V217
Cetamine® V217 is an organic corrosion inhibitor for steam boilers. It is an organic product that forms a protective film on the metal surface and protects steam boilers from corrosion. Since the product is easily transferable from liquid to volatile phase, it protects both steam pipes and condensate lines.
Cetamine® V217, by stabilizing stiffness and dispersing deposits, protects the boiler surface from deposits. The product can be used even where water is injected into the steam (to regulate steam parameters). It is used in steam boilers that are replenished with softened, demineralized water and is designed to protect steam boilers where steam is used for food industry purposes (in the process of food production or for heating food). The product complies with the provisions of the Law on Medicines and Cosmetics and other regulations for food additives, including FDA 21 C.F.R., paragraph 173.310.
Cetamine is a liquid product consisting of amines that form and neutralize organic film.
The dosage depends on a number of factors, e.g. concentration, water hardness, total alkalinity, chloride content, temperature, time delay index and suspended solids and should be selected with the help of ŠOMIS experts.
In most cases it is recommended to dose Cetamine® V217 (15÷100) g/m3 into feed water. The dosage should be selected so that the pH value of the concentrate is at least 8.2. Cetamine® V217 should be fed into the feed tank or feed water piping.
The product is introduced into the system by automatic dosing.
Cetamine® V 2000
Cetamine® V 2000 is an organic corrosion inhibitor for steam boilers. This product forms a protective film on metal surfaces and protects steam boilers from corrosion.
Due to the distribution coefficient between the volatile and liquid phases, the product is used to protect steam and condensate systems. Cetamine® V 2000 prevents scale formation in boilers because of its effective properties of water hardness stabilization and dispersion. In steam boilers, the product can only be used when the water is softened.
